On January 23, 2020, Verdell Fuller passed away. Verdell attended and graduated from Lee Street High School in Blackshear, Georgia. She was a member of the Evergreen Church in Bristol, GA where she sang in the choir and she loved to sing solos.
Verdell had a passion for working in the medical field and quickly found employment at Memorial Hospital of Waycross, GA for many years. After leaving the hospital she became a house mom. Her hobbies included watching varies TV programs, planting pretty flowers and spending quality time with her grands.
On February 10, 1968 Verdell met and married Bailey Fuller, and to this union three children were born.
Other than her parents, Verdell is preceded in death by her husband, Bailey Fuller; two brothers: Bobby Lee and James Cledis; one sister: Mary Tarber, and several nephews.
She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories: one son: Herman Bailey Fuller, Mershon, GA; two daughters: Donna Fuller, Mershon, GA; Christy Fuller of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren: Kailey. Joshua, Zackury Fuller and Jay McDonald; great great grandchildren; three sisters: Billie (Franklin) Batten, Alma, GA; Laverne Wright; Gwendolyn Williams; seven brothers: Lewis Godwin, Jackie Godwin, Leon Godwin, Javon Godwin, Kenny Godwin, all of Waycross, GA; William Junior Godwin, Blackshear, GA; Keith Godwin, Virginia; sister-in-law's: Viola Fuller, Alma, GA; Christine Fuller, Mershon, GA; Evon Fuller, Alma, GA; brother-in-law's: Robert (Joan) Fuller, Jacksonville, FL; Jerry (Billie) Fuller, Baxley, GA; Claude (Hattie) Fuller, Alma, GA and a hosts of other nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
