Kevin Z. Pender

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the coming home of the one He loves. The family of Kevin Z. Pender would like to announce his homegoing. 

Kevin Zachary Pender, 46 of Blackshear Georgia departed this life on November 21, 2020 peacefully at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross Georgia. Kevin was born in Blackshear, Georgia on October 1, 1974 to the beloved parents of Willie Zachary Pender and Ella Pender (Myles). Bishop A. J. Myles met and married Ella Myles and has been the beloved faithful Father for Kevin for the past 30 years. Kevin attended Ware Street Special Education for several years. He was a member of Bethel Temple FB Church in Blackshear Georgia. Kevin favorite color was green, because he loved money, frogs and his favorite song was, “I’ll Fly Away”, with some of the lyrics, “some glad morning when this life is over I will fly away”. He also enjoyed long rides with his Father and when at home he enjoyed watching the cooking shows with his Father. Kevin loved shopping, music and singing, and loved when his Caregiver (April Robinson) would sing along with him each morning during his care. He would laugh and he would sing. Mom’s Note: Kevin was Kevin, no doubt. He had his ways, but he still touched a lot of lives. I am truly going to miss my big spoiled baby and his Dad will too, who spoiled him more than me. I called him “BroMan”. We loved him so much! My Son. Howard, Joann Ratliff Wilcox, Waycross GA; uncles: Roy (Dr. Catherine) Primus, College Park, GA; Timothy (Phyllis) Primus, Ellenwood, Georgia; Bishop Willie Carr, Blackshear, GA; Charles Pender, Washington DC, Demetrius (Brenda) Pender, Folkston Georgia, George (Deloris) Myles, Sanford, FL, Cecil (Essie) Myles, Jacksonville, FL; Lewis Ratliff, Dublin, GA, Loyal dedicated Caregiver, April Robinson, and he leaves behind a host of very close cousins and church friends.
