Mr. John Edward “Ted” Timmons, Sr., was born April 4, 1933 to the late Ellick and Shirley Timmons, in Callahan, Florida. As a young man he grew grew and attended the schools in Callahan, Florida. He was married to Lula Mae Smiley of Blackshear, GA. And to this union one child was born.
Ted was employed with Pierce Timber of Blackshear. He was a Pulpwood worker and a successful logger where he drove a skitter for over sixty years.
His hobbies were fishing, playing the blues on his guitar and gospel songs.
Preceded him in death are four sisters: Salley Webster, Barbie Williams, Willie May Ward, Evelyn Fae White.
