David Daniel Moore

Mr. David Daniel Moore, known as “Danny”, age 65, of Mershon, GA, passed away on Friday November 16th at his residence. He was born on June 12, 1954 to the late Benjamin Moore and the late Ethel Jenkins Moore. He was educated in the Pierce County school system. As an adult he loved working in Pulpwood and lifting weights. But most of all he loved being a mechanic. He met and married his wife, Donnell Bryant Moore and raised a family together. Danny was preceded in death by his wife Donnell Moore, his parents, brothers James Moore and Benjamin Moore JR, sisters Argie Mae Moore, Rachel Little, Nadine Moore and Vivian Stafford.
 He is survived by six children: Rebecca Jean Moore, Rosalind (Gabriel) Smith, and Katherine Moore of Waycross, Ga., Danielle (Jermaine) Lee of Hinesville, GA., Robert (Abigail) Bryant of Bristol, GA., Vernelle (Timmy) Wesley of Alma GA. Three brothers: Larry (Barbara) Lively of Waycross GA., Kenny White of Vero Beach, Fla., Timothy (Dinah) Moore, Waycross. Sisters: Patricia(Albert)Moore, Douglas, Helen Jean Davis, Carolyn (Ronald)Bryant, Baxley, Donna(Tommie)Boggs, Teresa Brakes, Waycross, Debra Surrency, MacClenny, Fla, Diane(David)Parker, Debra(Patrick)Combs, Shemeka(Sidney)Douglas, Latonya Dennis of Waycross.  In Laws: James Bryant, Screven GA, Jerry Bryant (Alberta) Jesup GA, Herbert Bryant, Albert Bryant JR (Barbara), Donald Bryant (Helen) of Baxley GA and Carter Lee Bryant (Rose) Bristol GA. Sisters in laws: Bertha Jackson (Richard) Jesup GA,. Glenda Bryant, Appling County, and Evelyn Bryant. Special niece: Ethel Sha Dixon of Waycross GA. Aunts: Thelma Smith of Pennsauken, NJ., Marie Moore and Beatrice Moore of Huger, SC, Nellie Moore of Blackshear, Uncles:  Elijah Moore, Arthur (Jessie) Moore of Huger, SC. Grandchildren: 18 grand’s,1 great-grand.  Special friend: Royce Broady, Quintin Kinlaw, Mike Edwards and Donald Presley. As well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Friends are being recieved at the residence, 18 Donnie Ln. Mershon, GA. 

The family is receiving friends at the home.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 23rd from 5-7 p.m. at Rainge Memorial Chapel

Homegoing Celebration will be held Saturday, November 24th at 11:00 a.m. in Rainge Chapel

The cortege will assemble at 18 Donnie Lane, Mershon at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
