Mr. Hezekiah Bryant of Odum, GA passed Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, GA after a brief illness. He was surrounded by his loved ones.  Hezekiah was born in Screven, GA where he received his formal education. He was born December 18, 1945 to Mr. Albert and Mrs. Trudy Simpson Bryant.  Pulpwooding / tree harvesting was the profession he chose to support his family while working for the L. G. Aspinwall Family and retired after 42 years. He was married to Mrs. EiLeane Ward Bryant and to that union one daughter, Anita Renae, was born. Hezekiah enjoyed playing with his great grandson, especially watching him wresting and jumping on the trampoline. He also enjoyed sitting outside and watching the cars pass by.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Albert and Trudie Mae Bryant, his wife of 42 years, Mrs. EiLeane Bryant, and two sons, Mr. Hezekiah Bryant, Jr. and Mr. Franklin Bryant.

Left to cherish his memories are a loving daughter, Anita Renae Duhart, Odum, GA; three granddaughters, Erika Bryant, Emily Duhart and Erin Bryant; two great grandkids, Olen and Ambre’ Bryant, all of Odum, GA.; seven brothers, James Bryant, Screven, GA, Jerry (Alberta) Bryant, Jesup, GA, Herbert Bryant, Albert, Jr. (Barbara) Bryant, Ronald (Carolyn) Bryant, Carter (Rose) Bryant, and Donald (Helen) Bryant, all of Baxley, GA; two sisters, Bertha (Richard) Jackson, Jesup, GA and Shirley (Johnny) Jernigan of Bristol, GA; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
