Henrietta Jones Williams, age 73 of 210 Lantana Court, Brunswick, GA departed this life peacefully and ascended to heaven June 20, 2019.  She is the daughter of Mrs. Pearlie Taylor and the late Henry Jones of Blackshear.  She was born August 16, 1946.

She was affectionately known as Mema.  She retired from Carter’s Fried Chicken, Blackshear, GA in 2005.

She leaves to cherish her passing two daughters: Lorita and Vita Oliver; her mother, Pearlie Taylor; a brother, Carl Mackey; 3 grandchildren: Ariyan Williams, Marie Tyson, Cory Oliver; three great grandchildren, Louis Tyson, Ky’mani Tyson, Jahzaria Tyson; step children, James Williams, Larry Williams, Jack Williams, Jakie Williams, Brenda Murchinson, Lawanda Thomas; a loving uncle, Theodore Mackey; aunt, Jackoline Blakely, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and loving friends

The homegoing celebration  will be held Wednesday at 11:00 at Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church located at 2808 Piney Grove Rd, Blackshear, GA 31516 in Blackshear, Georgia. The wake will be held Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m at the chapel of Rainge Memorial. The interment will be at Shiloh Cemetery in Blackshear, Georgia.
