Famon “Sonny” Moore
Famon “Sonny” Moore 75 of Blackshear, Ga made his transition on July 24, 2020 at Memorial Health Medical Center in Savannah, Ga. He was surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on August 24, 1914 in Huger, South Carolina. He is the son of the late Luther Stafford and the late Viola Moore. He preceded in death by his parents and wife, Corientha Moore. He leaves to cherish his memories, three sons: Keith Moore (Stella) of Powder Springs, Ga, Famon Moore (Veronica) and Carlton Moore of Douglasville, Ga. Seven brothers, two sisters, two sisters-in-law, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one uncle, 3 aunts, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friend. A special extended family, Mrs. Mary, Hugh Thompson and family.
Viewing will be on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 5pm-7pm. A graveside service will be on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Blackshear Cemetery. Social distance and mask are required. Rainge Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Blackshear oversees arrangements.
