Obituary

Curtis Lee Edwards was born April 2, 1964 to the late Fallen Farmer and Laura Etta Edwards in Pierce County, GA.

He received his elementary and secondary education in the Schools of Pierce County School system and graduated with the class of 1985.  He was really good in all areas of sports while he was in school.  His hobbies included: basketball, football, fishing, family time and he loved to make you laugh.  He was employed as a skidder operator for a logging company and he did some mechanic work part time with his family.

He joined the Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church at an early age.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandma, Rose Farmer; granddads: Sam Farmer and Sampson Edwards; aunt: Martha Cooper, uncles: Henry Lee Edwards and John Henry Edwards.

Curtis touched many lives. He was a loving father and brother who leaves to cherish his wonderful memories with his wonderful  daughter and son:  Ashley Nichole Dixon, Alma, GA;  Curtis Javon Presley, Master-at-Arms 2nd Class Petty Officer, USN, San Diego, CA; his sweet grands: Kimora Dixon, Karmyn Dixon, Keyundrick, Dixon, Michael Dixon, Xavious Dixon, Taylor Presley, Curtis Presley, Emory Presley; his loving siblings: Malcolm  (Debbie) Edwards, Bristol, GA; Nikki  (Shawn) Cooper-Price, Kingsland, GA; Royzell  (Amorita) Cooper, Waycross, GA; Keon Cooper, Tonya Taylor, Blackshear, GA; Kathy (John) Taylor Shields, Jacksonville, FL; grandmother: Estella Edwards, Bristol, GA; all of his aunts and uncles: Mary Etta Edwards, Los Angeles, CA; Patricia Campbell, Bristol, GA; Paula LaCount, Orlando, FL; Julia Edwards, Bristol, GA; Hattie Edwards,  Jacksonville, FL; Earnest (Remanda) Edwards, Douglas, GA; Roseanne Booth, Patterson, GA; Lester Farmer, Miami, FL; Dan (JoAnne) Farmer, Samuel (Rosa) Farmer, North Carolina; Joseph (Myra) Farmer, Waycross, GA; Martha (David) Wilkins, Screven, GA; Alma Haynes, Lumber City, GA; Patricia (Patrick) Palmer, Patterson, GA; he leaves a special special friend Tony Madison, friend Brenda Madison, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and loving friends
