Amanda's journey began in her hometown where she blossomed into a remarkable individual. Throughout her life, she inspired those around her with her kindness and dedication. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of family, friends, and community members who were privileged to share in her life's moments.
With loving hearts and cherished memories, we celebrate the life and legacy of Ms. Amanda Roshelle Smith, whose vibrant spirit and loving heart touched all who knew her. Amanda was born to Janice Smith and Herman Davis and was raised surrounded by the love and companionship of her family. From childhood, she was known for being outgoing, full of personality, and bringing joy wherever she went.
Amanda was a loving mother who devoted her life to caring for her children and providing for her family. She worked faithfully at United Egg Producers, where her hardworking spirit and determination were evidenteach day. Amanda found happiness in the simple things in life, especially enjoying her coffee and spending time with those she loved most.
Though her earthly journey has ended, Amanda’s memory and the love she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her loving children, Chevy Shmar Godwin and Zimya Kapree Godwin; her devoted parents, Janice Smith and Herman Davis; her beloved siblings, Chesacha Smith, Marylin Smith, Cynthia Lockett, Octavia Davis, Kenneth Davis, Arias Davis, Steven Edgerton, and Nathan White; along with a host of loving aunts, uncles, other relatives, and sorrowing friends who will forever treasure her memory.
To honor Amanda's memory, a visitation will be held on May 29, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rainge Memorial Chapel, Inc., located at 505 Ware Street, Blackshear, GA 31516. This gathering will provide a time for loved ones to come together, offer their respects, and celebrate the life of a beloved soul.
This solemn yet uplifting event will stand as a testament to Amanda’s impact on the lives she touched.
Amanda Rochelle Smith's departure leaves a profound void, yet her spirit endures through the memories and love that remain.
