With deepest sympathy, we announce the passing of Mildred Lassiter. She passed from this life on January 19, 2024 and to celebrate her life, her funeral service will be held on January 27, 2024 at Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church (Blackshear, Ga) with her burial at Shiloh Cemetery (Blackshear, Ga).

It is with deep sympathy that the staff of Rainge Memorial Chapel announce the passing of the late Missionary Ida M. Thomas. She departed this life on January 12, 2024. Her funeral service will be held at Under His Wings Christian Fellowship Church (residing pastor, Pastor Chad Middleton) at 16 Scattered Pines Road, Hortense, GA 31543. Officiating the funeral service is Elder Anthony Sims.  Interment followed at the Waynesville Masonic Cemetery (Rose Hill Cemetery) in Waynesville, GA.

Mrs. Mary L. Hardy passed on November 19, 2023. Funeral will be Friday, December 1, 2023, 11:00am, Evergreen Church Bristol, Ga.  

Pearl (Thornton) Jinks departed this life on November 8, 2023, at home in Blackshear, Georgia. Pearl as was born on February 8, 1924, to the late Eddie V. Thornton and Addie M. Pate, in Camilla, GA. Roughly around the age of nine or ten, she moved to Waycross, Georgia where she received her high school education from in Center High. She was dietarian at Lee Street High, she also worked at Blackshear Nursing Home, and Waycross Shoe factory, and around the farm.   She was a member of...
